The federal charges come about five months after the shooting at Richneck Elementary School in which the 6-year-old shot his teacher, 25-year-old Abigail Zwerner. Taylor has no criminal record and has cooperated since the shooting occurred, Ellenson said in an earlier statement. “We will regret our absence on this day for the rest of our lives,” the statement read.
