The couple were very eager to deliver a baby boy but the woman gave birth to the baby girl. The couple often fought over the decision and also informed the parents that they did not wanted a baby girl and they should do something about it. "When the woman could not see any solution to the problem the lady first smothered the baby and later smashed her head on the floor", said a Powai police officer.
