BigstockThe deceased were identified as Tazmira, 28, and her seven-year-old daughter Fatema KhatunA woman reportedly committed suicide after killing her minor daughter at their residence in Satkhira’s Sadar upazila on Monday noon. The deceased were identified as Tazmira, 28, wife of Monirul Islam of Choyghoria village under Boikari union in Sadar upazila, and seven-year-old daughter Fatema Khatun. At one point, Tazmira took her two daughters Fatema and Meherina to a nearby garden where she fed the daughters poison and took it herself as well. Later, they were taken to Satkhira Sadar hospital where Tazmira and her seven-year-old Fatema died, he said. Speaking on the matter, Satkhira Sadar police station officer-in-Charge(OC) Md Asaduzzaman said the incident might have happened due to a family dispute.
