‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ or ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ is to be kept on banners for embellishment because the reality for a girl child is still gloomy in Indian society. After delivery, Sajida gave birth to a healthy baby girl for which her mother and bhabhi had a deal of 10 thousand rupees after Sajida’s consent. The buyer however didn’t have that sum and pleaded to buy the girl child for nine thousand rupees. To finalize the deal, he went to Tehsil office to buy the stamp paper just when Ashiq Ali arrived. He went to the medical officials to enquire only to know that a healthy girl child was born and had been handed over to the family.
