Mother Nature is lashing out and begging for help. Will we listen?

It’s no longer abstract; our real-world experience of sustained 40°C temperatures will not be forgotten anytime soon. The intense heat meant it only took a spark to ignite a raging inferno and eviscerate the town of Lytton, B.C. The heat so unbearable that over 700 people in the province suddenly died — three times what would be normally expected. It’s cooler now in B.C., and no one is complaining about the 27°C temperatures — normally considered hot. Maybe now Mother Nature’s cries for help will finally be heard.
