By: Arlene WeintraubOnly 37.9% of doctors who reported voting for Donald Trump are in favor of completely repealing the Affordable Care Act (ACA), widely referred to as Obamacare, according to a survey by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In total, only 15% of physicians who participated in the Hopkins survey support a repeal of the ACA—far less than the 26% of the general public who say they want Obamacare gone, as reported by the Kaiser Family Foundation. No democrats who answered the Hopkins survey reported being in favor of repeal. The Hopkins team also asked survey respondents to voice their opinions about how they believe the ACA should be improved.
