Although the DP party leadership welcomed him in the party, Kuria is yet to make an official application to join it. In past remarks, Kuria eluded claims that he would be running for a governor’s seat saying that there is no way he can resort to doing what he considers “village jobs”. “I think Ruto can play that part well considering that he has experience in this position” Kuria told Jeff Koinange.
