Well Morrisons has launched a meat-free pizza that will please even the most fussy of eaters. Major supermarket Morrisons has revealed today that it’s launching the nation’s first supermarket vegan ‘no pepperoni’ pizza at its pizza counters - and it tastes like the real deal. The Vegan ‘No Pepperoni’ Pizza is now available for a pocket-friendly £2.50 at Morrisons pizza counters, in the majority of Morrisons stores. The 10” vegan pizza is priced at just £2.50; less than a quarter of the price of Pizza Hut’s vegetarian equivalent, which sets pizza lovers back £11.89. Morrisons ‘No Pepperoni’ Pizza is made from a vegan dough and is topped with plant-based cheese and a vegan pepperoni alternative, which is made from a blend of pea protein and spices, to mimic the meaty taste and texture of the cheesy, spicy pizza favourite.
