Morrison's Island flood-defence scheme is haltedCORK City Council is halting the planned flood-defence scheme for Morrison's Island following a European Court of Justice ruling. A separate High Court hearing related to Morrison's Island brought by the Save Cork City organisation was adjourned for two weeks. Save Cork City are opposed to the flood defence plans by Cork City Council.
