Isaac Crowe at the Miles Art Awards with his work Angela of Makawe. Morrinsville artist Isaac Crowe's series The Strays Aotearoa, a social commentary on New Zealand's gangs, will be on display in Tauranga next month. The Waikato man won the The Incubator Emerging Artist Award at the 2018 Miles Art Awards, and his prize was to have a solo exhibition at the Incubator Gallery. Unsure of what to do after leaving high school, he "jumped around" until he returned to the school as a teacher aide. Crowe's show We Met at Art School will open on March 15 at 5.30pm at the Incubator Gallery, Tauranga.
