Morocco’s national flagship carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has suspended its activities on the Casablanca-N’Djamena-Nairobi route with the airline saying it took the decision to re-position itself on markets that are more profitable. However, RAM head in Kenya, Othman Baba, told HuffPost Maroc that the decision is temporary. The route launched in 2016 according to the RAM official did not meet expectations. Baba added that the airline could return with a new market approach. “In the aeronautic or aviation industry, it is normal that an airline pulls out temporarily,” to develop a new approach, Baba said.
