Morocco’s King Inaugurates New Platforms to Promote Youths Integration, Nurture their Hope in Future


King Mohammed VI inaugurated on Wednesday in the Souss Massa region new platforms and cultural projects meant to promote youths’ integration in the job market, stimulate their initiative and entrepreneurship spirit, guarantee their better socio-economic integration and nurture their hope in the future. In the town of Ait Melloul (Inezgane-Aït Melloul prefecture), the Monarch inaugurated “Argana Youth Platform”, a structure of support and counselling devoted to young people. The Argana youth platform, worth nearly 7 million dirhams (over $722,000), houses several facilities, including entrepreneurship, employment and counselling rooms, an auditorium, workshops, a media library, in addition to sports amenities. The Monarch then headed to the prefecture of Agadir – Ida Outanane where he dedicated two cultural centers, “Dar Momkin” and “Etoiles du Souss”. They attend courses in theater, visual arts, dance, music and foreign languages and benefit from artistic support and creative coaching programs.
