The Legislative Institutions of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates are poised to bolster their cooperation in the legislative and parliamentary fields as stipulated in a memorandum of understanding they signed on Monday in Rabat. The MoU was signed during a meeting between a delegation of the Federal National Council, led by FNC Speaker Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, and members of the Moroccan House of Representatives. Under the memorandum, the two legislative bodies agreed to coordinate their actions and stands within regional and international institutions. Dr. Al Qubaisi praised the forum initiative as a means to bolster cooperation between the two sides. He further emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening relations between states and exploring new avenues of cooperation.
