And rainfall warnings have replaced some of the snowfall warnings issued Saturday. Calgary and nearby communities woke up to falling snow Sunday morning — bending trees in some parts of the city — but much of it had melted by the afternoon. Rosa Marchitelli tweeted a shot showing tree-bending white stuff just before 10 a.m.Yup. At 5:15 p.m. Airdrie, Cochrane, Nordegg, Olds, Sundre and Rocky Mountain House were still covered by snow fall warnings of up to 15 centimetres.
