More time needed for evidence: Saskatchewan police impaired driving case delayed

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — A court appearance by a Saskatchewan municipal police officer charged with impaired driving has been delayed to allow the defence a chance to examine evidence in detail. Brett Lee Henry, a 13-year member of the Prince Albert Police Service, was charged last month. Henry, who is 35, was to appear in Prince Albert court today, but that was adjourned until Tuesday at the request of his counsel. Defence lawyer Michael Owens told court the evidence sent to his office contains a lot of video which he must review with his client before proceeding.
