The Padma Multipurpose Bridge project is now more than halfway towards completion. All of the approach road construction on both sides of the bridge has been completed, while river training is 34% finished. “With the implementation of the Padma Bridge Project, the electoral pledges of the incumbent government are being fulfilled.”Ekabbar is optimistic that the next span of the bridge will be installed by December. Concluding its inspection, the committee advised everyone related to the long-awaited Padma Bridge project to remain committed, so that its construction could be finished within the scheduled time. Project Director Engineer Shafiqul Islam, and officials from the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry and the secretariat, were also present.
