KUALA LUMPUR: Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) policemen have finally finished counting the cash seized from an apartment in the luxurious Pavilion Residences in Bukit Bintang. They said only 35 of the 72 bags seized contained cash, the others being filled with other luxury items such as jewellery and watches. It had taken days for the CCID policemen to count the cash, as the serial number of each note had to be recorded down. Two other apartments at Pavilion residences, said to belong to Najib’s family members, were also searched, along with the former prime minister’s own home in Jalan Langgak Duta. CCID policemen had counted cash in 11 bags on Monday and 16 the following day.
