At a media briefing, the BGMEA said that 91 percent factories have cleared all dues of their workers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. "The remaining factories will clear the dues by Sunday," said BGMEA President Siddiqur Rahman. He said that they had received information that some factories may not clear their workers' dues before Eid. "Visits have been made to 928 factories, who are BGMEA members, and 18 of them were identified as uncertain. At this very moment there's not a single factory, which has any problems over salary and allowances," Rahman told the media.
