People started arriving at 5am, and by 7am the designated space for 20,000 had been occupied. The rest of mourners formed a queue more than one kilometre long stretching to Soi Bang Na 4. The inbound Bang Na-Trat road became congested with a line of vehicles queuing in front of Central Bang Na shopping mall.
