More than 1000 cannabis plants and $800,000 cash have been seized from a rural property in Manawatū. Police found the a large-scale commercial cannabis operation at a Feilding home while responding to a firearms incident on January 2. A total of 1102 cannabis plants were recovered, ranging from seedlings to 325 mature plants ready for harvest. It is the region's most significant indoor cannabis bust in 10 years. "This is one of the most significant indoor cannabis operations discovered in the past 10 years," he said.
