Team HeraldPANJIM: The North Goa District Magistrate has announced more road diversions for all types of vehicular traffic at Porvorim and Sangolda in view of construction of ongoing elevated corridor at Porvorim. At Sangolda junction to Dr Sidney Pinto’s residence (Sector 3), the vehicular traffic shall not be diverted and the traffic shall move on the existing NH-66 and six metres wide road shall be made available on either side, beyond the barricading. At CH: 511.920 to 512.340 Mall de Goa to Delfino Junction (Sector 4), the vehicular traffic shall be diverted near Mall de Goa on the road leading to Chatrapati Shivaji Statue and thereafter on Vishwanath Lawande road (existing service road). The District Magistrate has also notified the closure of old road approaching to Teachers Training College at alto Porvorim near IHM, Bardez and to divert the vehicular traffic from new road i.e. road constructed from Mall De Goa, Porvorim to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk, Alto-Porvorim.
