PHOTO: KAYLA HODGEFurther repair work will be undertaken in Moeraki’s Haven St next week to combat roughness created by land movements. The road will be closed from Tenby St to Haverford St, and sections being repaired include from Davids St and towards Cleddy St.Waitaki District Council roading manager Mike Harrison said land movements and traffic had created potholes, especially in the slip edges. A new material mix was being used to improve dust quality and improve the maintenance response to the road’s movements. This was not the first time maintenance work had been undertaken in Haven St.
