David Hui says if more people get tested the higher the chance of cutting off silent virus infections. Speaking on an RTHK program, Hui said citizens may be able to dine with four people if the epidemic eases. The government announced on Wednesday the easing of some anti-epidemic measures starting Friday, extending the dine-in hours of restaurants to 10:00pm and allowing fitness centers and massage parlors to reopen. Hui also said the data collected through the citywide testing will surely give authorities a better understanding in adjusting infection control measures. “The more people sign up for universal testing, the higher chance we can cut off the invisible transmissions,” he added.
