This year’s Amaco International volleyball tournament set for Eldoret this weekend received Sh5.5 million. Despite the increase in cash by Amaco, this year’s number entrants has dropped from 60 last year to 50, among them three foreign teams. Paul Bitok Foundation has donated Sh100,000 to the tournament and Sh80,000 in sponsoring the three foreign teams stay in Kenya. “This is a great opportunity for young players to develop their talent and raise to attain the standards to play internationally in the years to come. This is in line with our corporate social investment policy—to seek to nurture young talents,” intimated Tomno during the launch of the tourney in Nairobi.
