Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Teeka Ram Meena on Friday confirmed more cases of bogus voting in the State, this time in two booths in the Kannur Lok Sabha constituency. Twelve bogus votes were cast in booth 166 of Mappila AUP School, Pamburuthi, in the Taliparamba Assembly segment. Here, nine persons had cast bogus votes. K. Muhammed Anas, Muhammed Aslam, Abdul Salam, Sadiq K.P., Shamil and Mubashir cast bogus vote once. In all, 20 bogus votes were cast, Mr Meena said adding that his office would closely monitor the progress of the police cases.
