Yee was one of 69 vendors at Makers & Co’s Tukar Tangan (TT) community event held in Petaling Jaya recently. “Many Malaysians have a fair share of pre-loved items and they are aware of eco-conscious movements to reduce wastage in landfills. Selling pre-loved items is a great way to be kinder to the environment while supporting local business communities. Secondhand items have been sold for decades, commonly at charity outlets, pawn shops, car boot sales and flea markets. The plus point about buying pre-loved items at such events is that customers can see, inspect and choose the stuff for themselves.
