More Filipinos are believing the “nanlaban” claim of the police, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed. Meanwhile, the survey showed an 11-point drop in the percentage of people who do not believe the “nanlaban” claim, from 37 percent in September 2017 to 26 percent in June 2018. SWS said the latest results show the net opinion about the truthfulness of the police claim to zero, with believers at 27 percent and non-believers at 26 percent. “This brings the net opinion about the truthfulness of the police to net zero in June 2018,” the SWS said. The survey was conducted from June 27 to June 30, 2018, using face-to-face interview with 1,200 respondents aged 18 years old and above nationwide.
