Customs Intelligence and Investigate Directorate (CIID) has sent a letter to Special Branch of police asking them to take necessary steps to stop Moosa Bin Shamsher from leaving Bangladesh. The letter was sent to Special Branch (SB) of police on Tuesday, said CIID Director General Dr Moinul Khan. He told the Dhaka Tribune: “We had asked business tycoon Moosa to give his bank statement and also disclose the source of Tk96,000 crore that he had deposited into his Swiss Bank account. “He had sought one month’s time to submit the documents but he did not and this offence can get him arrested.”CIID DG also said investigation officer Shariar Mahmud suspects that Moosa might leave Bangladesh without submitting any document. “Our investigation officer is preparing to interrogate him again,” he said.
