Monrovia - Montserrado and Grand Bassa Counties have been crowned champions of the 2017/2018 National County Sports Meet in Football and Kickball respectively. The girls from Grand Bassa County fought hard to deny Nimba County a third successive title with a 2-1 home run victory after ten rounds each. In the football category, Bong County went down to defending Champions Montserrado County 2-0 in an entertaining match at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville. The Champions secured their first title against Maryland County on penalties shootout and won their second title in grand style.
