In their letter of concern, school leaders listed nine “instances of deficiencies at OPI” under Arntzen’s leadership. The allegations include:Unlicensed Educators: School leaders allege there have been issues with unlicensed teachers in their Fall 2021 report, more than usual. Federal Program Monitoring Process: School leaders say there have been mistakes in the federal programs monitoring process. “…you instead used the influence of your office to speak against the efforts of public educators,” the school leaders wrote.
