Monju came up with the allegation after casting his vote at Rahima Government Primary School polling centre around 8:45am on Tuesday. Manju also alleged that his agents were obstructed from entering the polling centres of Ward 22. Besides, the ruling party men also beat one of his polling agents at Zila School centre, alleged the BNP candidate. He also claimed that the Nirala School polling centre in Ward 24 has no ballot paper. A total of five mayoral candidates, 148 general councillor and 38 reserved-seat female councillor candidates are there in the election race.
