But it’s where he was lining up at Tuesday’s practice, between wingers James Neal and Austin Czarnik, and after a tough month that’s seen him struggle to put points on the board, Monahan had no complaints. “Yeah, when things aren’t going your way and you’re feeling frustrated, that’s when you tend to tighten up your stick and not make the plays you want to make,” Monahan said. “I mean, six years (in the NHL), played 82 games a year, you go through slumps and phases where things aren’t going your way,” Monahan said.
