Bangladesh A team have been strengthened for the third and final unofficial Test match against visitors West Indies A side with the addition of former Test captain Mominul Haque to the squad along with other prominent names of the national team. Bangladesh A side also included Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Nasum Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Mushfik Hasan for the series decider. It is understood that the additions of Mominul, Yasir, Nurul and Shoriful were done after suggestions from Bangladesh national team head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. It has been learnt that Hathurusingha is willing to observe these players before naming the Test squad for the one-off Test against Afghanistan, scheduled to be played in Dhaka in mid-June.
