An American was hauled out a stolen taxi by a furious Colombian mob after he allegedly used it to run over a mother and child because he 'wanted to be deported home.' John Joseph Gianino, 41, jumped into the taxi at Ernesto Cortissoz airport, in the city of Barranquilla, on Monday night while the driver was unloading baggage. A few yards after hitting the pair the car stopped and an angry mob took hold of Gianino while police moved in to detain him. Mobile phone footage shows the driver covering his head as an angry mob tries to pull him out of the car. Further footage shows him lying on the hospital bed while being examined with a bloody gash on his forehead.
