Russian stongman, Mikhail Shivlyakov was competing in the deadlift at the 2018 Arnold Sports Festival tournament in Colombus, Ohio. Dramatic footage captured Shivlyakov’s attempt to lift nearly half a ton, that left his nose erupting in blood, and him stealing the show. The 37-year-old, who is a previous Marine sailor in the Navy, is no weakling yet the pressure of lifting nearly half a ton soon became too much for the strongman. The audience urge him on, knowing how close is to completing the deadlift, even while blood runs down his face.
