Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo was a notable absentee from the starting XI in their final match of the season at Aston Villa. Arsenal had a £70m move for the Ecuador international rebuffed in the January transfer window but are expected to return with an improved offer this summer. De Zerbi promoted Yasin Ayari – a £5m January signing from Swedish outfit AIK – to the starting XI in place of Caicedo. Caicedo could however make an appearance from the bench in what could be his final appearance for the Seagulls.
