Former President Daniel Moi has mourned the death of former MP and minister Nicholas Biwott. In a statement, Moi said he has known Biwott since the 1950s both being leaders from Rift Valley. "He initiated community projects to alleviate the suffering of the Keiyo people whom he represented for years," Moi said. Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi said Biwott was a different kind of politician who had a larger than life personality.
