Girls handball and netball champions Moi Girls Kamusinga of Western and Kaya Tiwi of Coast joined the long list of 2016 winners who relinquished their crowns this year. After two straight losses to Kamusinga in the national finals, St Anne’s Sega of Nyanza finally got it right to snatch the national crown. Sega coach David Owinyo said that their desire and determination not to lose to Kamusinga once again was their motivation. Obambo of Nyanza reclaimed netball crown after beating Kaya Tiwi 31-21.
