Mohsin Dawar removed from foreign affairs committee

National Assembly lawmaker Mohsin Dawar has been removed from National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and placed on a less known Standing Committee on House and Library. According to reports, Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Dawar was replaced by Fazal Muhammad Khan, a PTI MNA from Charsadda, on the committee. NA’s director media Muhammad Mohsin Iqbal confirmed the development in a comment to media, saying there was no reason for the change. Dawar, in a tweet, accused NA Speaker Asad Qaiser of bowing to vested interests by ordering his removal from the foreign affairs committee. Talking to media, Dawar said he learned about the matter after arriving at the assembly on Monday.
