March 30, 2021 by News Admin No CommentsFormer Chief Justice Mohan Peiris and two others were acquitted from a bribery case by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today. The case has been filed against the three for allegedly preparing an erroneous report to gain undue benifits. When the case was taken up before Colombo Cheif Magistrate Buddika Sri Ragala on February 17, the Bribery Commission has informed that it will withdraw the case due to a technical error.
