Mohamad Fuzi pays farewell visit to Dr M - Nation


PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, who will be retiring at the end of the week, paid a farewell visit to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. "Dr Mahathir accepted the farewell visit earlier today by the Inspector-General of Police who will end his service this Saturday (May 4)," read a post on the Prime Minister's official Facebook page on Monday (April 29). "Thank you and (my) highest appreciation for your service over the years," said Dr Mahathir, who also uploaded three photographs of Mohamad Fuzi's visit to the PM's office. Mohamad Fuzi also tweeted that he extends his appreciation to the Prime Minister and feels honoured to have served the Royal Malaysian Police for 35 years. Mohamad Fuzi, who turns 60 on May 4, was appointed IGP on Sept 4, 2017, taking over from Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
