Reports suggested that the vehicle used by the terrorists was a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives. This would include India removing most favored nation (MFN) privileges given to Pakistan under the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, the finance minister added. Jaitley also said that there is “incontrovertible evidence” of Pakistan “having a direct hand in this gruesome terrorist incident”. The finance minister told that Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh would be leaving for Srinagar with a team of officials. Condemning the attack, the Indian government in a strongly-worded statement had demanded that “Pakistan should stop supporting terrorists and terror groups operating from their territory”.
