Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed rallies in Nagaland and Meghalaya. Addressing the gathering at Tuensang district of Nagaland, Modi said: “I can see the picture of ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat’ (One India, Best India) before me in Tuensang. This government along with that at the centre will drive Nagaland forward,” Modi concluded at his Nagaland poll rally. At the Meghalaya rally, Modi said: “The current government (of Meghalaya) has wasted 50 years. In Meghalaya, BJP is contesting 47 seats out of the total 60-seats in the Meghalaya legislative Assembly.
