The kitchen is the centrepiece of this Bishopstown home. The hunter green units and island stand out strongly against white subway wall tiles and the warm brown, herringbone, laminate parquet flooring. “I do like cooking and, yes, the kitchen is my favourite part of our home.”They bought in 2020 and upgraded and remodelled. It was known as ‘Ballinaspick’, or Baile an Easpaig (town of the Bishop) , as early as the 1500s. Pocket sliding doors lead from the kitchen/living area to the main living room, which has a raised, solid-fuel stove.
