Boonpoj Mohsri, 36, a well-known sidecar coffee vendor, was arrested at 2pm by police from the Muang Nakhon Nayok police station, less than an hour after his victim filed a complaint with police. She did not realise her phone was stolen until the vendor left. The clip showed that Boonpoj snatching the phone from Narisara’s pocket while she was making her order. Boonpoj is well known among local people for his fun style of speaking while selling tea and coffee drinks. He admitted that he had previously snatched another customer’s phone but was caught and the patron forgave him.
