The authorities of the private University of Asia Pacific (UAP) have dismissed two teachers following allegations of "blasphemy" and "Awami League sympathiser" tags. The dismissed teachers are Assistant Professor Layeka Bashir and Associate Professor Dr ASM Mohsin. The university authorities implemented it yesterday.”Among the dismissed teachers, Assistant Professor Layeka Bashir was serving as an assistant professor (Sociology) in the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities.
