A Mongrel Mob member has been charged over an assault after which a man needed hospital treatment. John-Boy Rakete (28) appeared in the Dunedin District Court on Tuesday charged with injuring with intent to injure, and was remanded in custody. - A man has been arrested in relation to an assault on a Kiwibank staff member. "During his rant, he hit a Perspex barrier on the top of the counter which broke and hit the staff member in the face.'' The man was located shortly afterwards in the Octagon and arrested and charged with wilful damage and assault.
