The parade is renowned for its colourful float participation with numerous entries from local community and sporting organisations adding to the parade atmosphere. Leinster School of Dance claimed the 'Best Overall' accolade, the 'Most Entertaining Float' award going to the Ravens Living History Association. The Grand Hotel Moate will host the St Patrick's Day awards presentation night on Friday, April 24, at 7pm.
