MoU Signed with Gunvor, Singapore To Import LNG EB ReportPetrobangla on Tuesday has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gunvor Singapore PTE Ltd to import Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). State minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid was the chief guest of the MoU signing ceremony. Petrobangla Secretary Syed Ashfaquzzaman and Speelevelid, the Head of LNG-BD/Asia of Gunvor Singapore PTE Ltd, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides. In the second phase another 50 crore cubic feet LNG will be imported inOctober and it will be supplied to the central areas of the country. Besides, the government has taken steps to install LNG based power plants.
