Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said this week he would recuse himself from any matter involving the film industry that could affect his wife’s production company, after a government ethics watchdog refused to approve his most recent financial disclosures. Mr. Mnuchin told ethics officials during his confirmation process in early 2017 that he would divest from the film company Stormchaser Partners LLC, which he owned with his then-fiancee Louise Linton.
